butter chicken with basmati rice

Ingredients
1 lb skinless boneless chicken thigh1 onion sliced thin3 tbsp garlic minced4 tbsp ginger powdered1.5 tbsp turmeric4 tsp Cinnamon1 lrg can diced tomatoes1 sml(135ml) can tomato paste3t bp butter, salted4 cups basmati rice cooked (1 cup uncooked)1 cup roasted almonds - ground in blender
Directions
over med heat - melt butter, add onion saute for few minutes, add garlic and cinnamon, add chicken stirring until cooked on (5-7minutes), add almonds and rest of spice and cook for 4 min add tom paste and canned tomatoes, and chick peas simmer 30 min on med-low heat. Just before serving add 1 cup plain 1 & yogurt and simmer for few more minutes. Serve over basmati rice (included in nutrition) and Naan (not included)
