Reisling Honey Cakes

Ingredients

1/2 cup Reisling Wine1 Large Egg2/3 cup Flour1/8 tsp Ground CinnamonDash of Salt2 Tbsp Sugar 1 cup Honey1/8 tsp Ground Nutmeg
In Large Bowl, beat wine and egg. In Small Bowl combine flour, cinnamon, salt, and sugar. Add to egg mixture. Mis until well blended. Let stand 30 min.
Combine Honey and Nutmeg in small bowl.
Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet until hot, but not smoking. Drop the batter into oil 1 Tbsp at a time, fry until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve with honey mixture for dipping. (warm slightly to thin honey if desired).
