Pasta Figiole

Ingredients
3/4 to 1lb. Italian Turkey Sausage1 28oz can diced tomatoes2 14oz cans great northern beans1 8oz can tomato sauce1 10oz box frozen spinach2 14oz cans chicken broth1Tbs minced garlic1Tbs parsley1tsp oregano (or basil)1 1/2 tsp kosher salt1/2 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp black pepper3 cups water1/2 lb. whole wheat pasta (Ditalini or other small tube pasta)Romano or Parmesan cheese to sprinkle
Directions
1. In large stock pot, brown Italian sausage. Drain excess grease.
2. Add diced tomatoes, beans, parsley, garlic powder, spinach, salt, pepper, chicken broth, tomato sauce, basil, minced garlic and water. Bring to a boil. Turn down to simmer and cover, 40 minutes.
3. Add pasta and cook uncovered until pasta is tender, appx. 10 minutes.
4. Ladel soup into bowls, sprinkle cheese on top and serve.
