Rice and Sausage Casserole

1 cup uncooked rice1 pound hot sausage (12 ounces cooked)2 tablespoons margarine or butter1 cup chopped celery1 large onion, chopped1/2 cup chopped red bell peppers1/2 cup chopped green bell peppers1 can cream of mushroom soup1 cup milk2 cups shredded colby jack cheese
Cook rice according to directions; transfer a large bowl. Preheat oven to 350. Crumble and brown sausage over medium heat. Drain and stir into cooked rice. Drain drippings from skillet. Melt butter in same skillet over medium high heat until hot. Add peppers and onions;cook and stir until tender. Stir into rice and sausage mixture.
Stir in milk and soup. Mix well. Spoon into lightly greased 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake uncovered 40 minutes or until heated through.
