2 c flour2 c sugar1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt2 eggs, beaten2 cans of fruit cocktail (15 oz cans), syrup includedTopping:1 c brown sugar1 c nuts, chopped
Mix flour, sugar, soda, salt, and eggs together. Mix in fruit cocktails. Pour into a greased 9x13 rectangular pan. Mix together brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle on top of cake mix. Bake in oven at 325 for 40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream--best warm.
Makes about 20 servings of 1-2 inch square cake pieces.
