*Courgette, 200 gram(s) Peas, frozen, 1 cup Onions, raw, 0.5 cup, chopped Cauliflower, raw, 150 grams Carrots, raw, 250 grams Mushrooms, fresh, 100 grams Celery, raw, 2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 0.5 cup Beef, top sirloin, 10 oz *Chick Peas, 1.5 cup Garlic, 2 clove Passata, 500 gram(s) (a tin of crushed tomatoes will do the same)Sesame Oil, 2 1tsp Raisins, 0.25 cup (not packed) Flour, whole grain, 20 grams *Ground tumeric, 0.5 tbsp Chili powder, 1 tsp Parsley, dried, 1 tbsp Ginger, ground, 1 tsp *Corriander, 1 tsp mixed herbs, 1tsp all spice1 tbsp flour
Cut beef, carrots, cauliflower, peppers, celery and courgette into 1" pieces, Marinate the beef with all the spices and flour. Heat oil in saucepan and brown onions and garlic, then add beef and cook until it starts to brown. Add vegetables and stir, add a little water if it starts sticking to the pan. The add chick peas, raisins and passata. Cover with a lid and let it simmer for about 20 mins. Serve with brown rice or side dish of choice. This tastes even better when warmed up again. I make it and then freeze it as individual portions.
