Spanish Rice

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef1/2 cup chopped onions3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper1 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper28 oz can stewed tomatoes1 cup water1 cup white or brown rice
Directions
-brown the beef in large skillet on medium high heat
-add onions and green peppers and saute
-add tomatoes and water, salt and pepper
-add rice and mix together
-simmer covered on medium low heat for 20 to 45 minutes depending on what type of rice was used.
