Sesame meatballs

Ingredients
Meatballs: ground beef, pork & veal, plus eggs, bread crumbs, milk, cilantro, soy sauce, salt & sesame oilSauce: soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, sugar
Directions
Mix meat, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, milk, cilantro, salt, 1 T soy sauce, 2 t sesame oil & minced water chestnuts in bowl.
Preheat oven to 350.
Roll meatballs into 1.25" balls, place in baking pan. Bake 15-20 minutes or until cooked.
Mix sauce: remaining soy sauce & sesame oil, plus sugar, lime juice. Pour sauce over meatballs & garnish with sesame seeds & extra cilantro (or use sauce for dipping).

    These were very tasty, although I think they could be even better if you used fresh breadcrumbs instead of standard ones and soaked them in either the milk or some yogurt. This makes them much more tender. - 8/22/11
