Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

4.5 c. white flour2 tsp. baking soda2 c. softened butter1.5 c. packed brown sugar0.5 c. white sugar2 (3.4 g) instant vanilla pudding mix4 eggs2 tsp. vanilla extract4 c. chocolate chips2 c. choppepd walnuts (optional)
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift together flour and baking soda, set aside. In large bowl cream together the butter, brown and white sugar cookies. Beat in the pudding until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally stir in the chocolate chips and the nuts. Round quarter sized balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes in preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
