50 g butter1/4 cup flour1/4 cup nonfat milk1 tsp chicken bouillon dissolved in1 cup hot water1.5 cup mushrooms, any kind1 bay leafSalt to taste
1. Melt butter, add flour, whisking until smooth and bubbly
2. Add milk and bouillon, again, whisk until smooth and creamy
3. Add mushrooms and bayleaf, turn down heat and simmer to fragrant. Add salt to taste, you might also need water depending on how thick you like your soup. Makes four pretty hefty servings. More filling than canned, too.
