Lemon Basil Pine Nut Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
1/4 c. olive oil1/2 onion, diced2 T. garlic1/2 c. breadcrumbs1 c. pine nuts, chopped1/4 c. lemon juice + zest1/4 c. basil
Directions
Heat olive oil. Add onions and garlic and saute over low till very soft, 10-12 minutes. Add breadcrumbs, zest, and pine nuts and saute till golden, 7-10 minutes. Stir in basil and mix well.

Makes enough to sauce 1 pound of pasta.
