Broccoli Bacon Quiche

1 pie crust (refrigerated or homemade)1 cup broccoli, fresh or frozen6 strips of turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (Gruyere is also great for this)6 eggs1/2 cup half and half 1/2 cup water (can sub 1 cup milk in place of half and half/water)1/4 tsp. cayenne peppersalt and pepper to taste
1. Roll the crust out in a pie pan and edge. Pre-bake the crust according to package/recipe directions.
2. Spread the broccoli evenly on the bottom. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. (If you wish, reserve some of the cheese to sprinkle on top of the egg mixture)
3. Beat the eggs, then stir in half and half, water, cayenne and salt and pepper. Pour over top of broccoli and cheese. Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
4. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until firm and golden.
