Mexican Beef and Rice Medoly

Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef;2.5c. brown rice;4.5c. water;1- 19oz can of 6 bean medley;1 pkg taco seasoning;1 tbsp cumin;1 tbsp garlic plus;1 tbsp seasoned salt.(Optional - shredded cheese and Salsa
Directions
In a deep frying pan, brown beef in a tbsp of olive oil and then drain. Turning the heat to low, add beans, uncooked rice, seasonings and stir in water. Once thoroughly mixed, turn heat up to med, med-low depending on your stove, cover and cook approx 40-45 mins, stirring occasionally. Once all the liquid has been absorbed, you can add shredded cheese and replace lid for approx 8 min and serve. NOTE: this also makes a great mix for burritos.
