2 teaspoons olive oil1 small onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced2 (14.5 ounce) cans fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed1/2 cup ditalini or other small pasta2 cups Swiss chard leaves or spinach leaves
1. Warm the oil in a Dutch oven or soup pot set over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the onion is soft.
2. Add the broth, tomatoes (with juice), beans, and pasta. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked. Add the Swiss chard or spinach. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the chard or spinach is wilted.
