Broccoli and Whole Wheat Spaghetti

Ingredients
2 C Broccoli 20 Ozs Cooked Pasta 1 clove Garlic -- minced 1/4 C Virgin Olive Oil 1/2 Tsp Peppercorns -- grated 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt 1 Tsp Basil, Fresh -- chopped fine
Directions
Prepare large pot of water add salt if desired, bring to a rapid boil, add spaghetti.
Cook 9 minutes for al dente
or
11 minutes for more tender

Chop fresh broccoli stalk and flowerettes, set aside. Mince 1 clove of fresh garlic, toss in with choppped broccoli


While pasta is cooking, use a covered mircowave steamer, add broccoli and minced garlic.
Microwave 2 minutes 100% power, reduce to 50% power and microwave 6 - 8 minutes, depending on your microwave wattage.

Toss steamed broccoli with cooked pasta, olive oil, salt, fresh basil and grated pepper.
