Homestyle Turkey Chili (Crock Pot)

2 cans Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed1 small yellow pepper (bell), approx 5 strips diced1 medium sweet red pepper diced (approx 3/4 cup worth)1 lb Ground Turkey ( 93% lean)1,2 cup Onion Chopped1/4 cup Tomato Paste1 cup Water1 Tbsp salt3 tsp Minced Garlic1 package McCormick Chili Seasoning low sodium1 can stewed Tomatoes (Do not Drain)
Dice all the Veggies up
Heat a large skillet on the stove, add the meat, peppers, onions, and garlic. Cook until meat is no longer Pink. (while it is cooking on the stove)~Turn your crock pot on high.
in the crock pot: Add the Chili Seasoning, water kidney beans, tomato Paste, Salt and stewed tomatoes, Stir thoroughly.
When meat mixture is no longer pink, drain.
Add the meat mixture into the crock pot and stir together.
Cover and cook on high 4 hours, or low for 6 hours.
Makes approx 8 servings
If you want a thinner chili add more stewed tomatoes, or just water.
My children like to add cheese, and tomatoes on top!!
