Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
1/2 cup softened margarine1/2 cup shortening1 1/2 cup sugar2 eggs1 tsp. vanilla2 1/2 cup flour1 tsp. soda2 tsp cream of tartar1/4 tsp salt3 TBSP Sugar3 TBSP Cinnamon
Directions
Mix together margarine and shortening. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and blend into creamed mixture. Shape tsp. of dough into ball and combine 3 Tbsp. sugar and 3 Tbsp. cinnamon. Roll balls into mixture. Place on ungreased cooked sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes approximately 5 dozen cookies
