Ingredients
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats1.5 cups wheat germ1 cup coarsly chopped almonds0.5 cups sesame seeds1 cup hulled sunflower seeds0.5 cups canola oil0.25 cups honey
Directions
makes 18 0.5-cup servings
1. Heat oven to 300F. Scatter oats over baking sheet and toast in oven for 15 mins - stirring frequently.
2. Mix wheat germ, almons, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds in a bowl.
3. Heat the oil and the honey over low heat in a small saucepan for 5 mins.
4. Stir honey mixture into wheat germ mix. Combine with toasted oats.
5. Spread thin layer over baking sheet and toast stirring frequently for 45 mins.
6. Let cool to room temp and store in airtight container.
