CrockPot Beef Pot Roast

2.5# Beef Chuck Shoulder Roast4 Tbsp. (1 package) Lipton Onion Soup Mix3/4c. Water2 Tbsp. Lawry's Garlic Salt1/2 Tbsp. Black PepperPAM Spray1 tsp. Cornstarch1 Tbsp. Skim Milk
Combine soup mix and water, stir to dissolve and let sit.
Preheat pan over medium high heat.
Season beef with garlic salt and pepper. Spray pan with PAM. Sear well on all sides. Place in CrockPot.
Pour onion soup mix into pot, not on beef, while holding back onions with fork/strainer. Smooth onions over beef.
Cover and cook on High 5 hours, or until tender. Basting once with broth, after piercing meat with fork.
Remove meat, trim fat. Thicken sauce with cornstarch/milk in small pot. Pour over meat and let sit about 5 minutes. Enjoy!!
