Julie's Slow Cooker Irish Beef Stew

Ingredients
1 lb. 93% lean ground beef1 bottle Killian's Irish Red Beer1 leek, chopped1 tsp. ground thyme3 large raw potatoes, sliced28 baby carrots (6 oz.)2 stalks celery, chopped
Directions
Brown ground beef; add chopped leek, thyme, and beer. Simmer 5 minutes. In slow cooker, layer potatoes, carrots, celery, and beef mixture. Mix powdered beef bouillon and water; pour over beef and vegetables. Cook on high for four hours.
