Potato Soup

Ingredients
8 cups water1 ham hoch (for soup stock)1 T salt8 carrots, grated1/2 medium turnip, grated8 medium to large potatoes
Directions
Boil ham hoch in water with salt for about 45 minutes. Add in grated vegetables, and sliced potatoes. Let simmer until potatoes are tender.

Soup can be made ahead and frozen, but leave out potatoes until ready to heat and serve.
