butternut squash casserole

Ingredients
Ingredients:Butternut Squash, 4 cup, cubes (remove)*Dole 'Crushed Pineapple' 100% pineapple juice (no sugar), 1 cup (remove)Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp (remove)*Splenda, 48 tsp (remove) aka 1 cup, the calc did not allow for one cup.Butter, unsalted, .25 cup (remove)Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)Almonds, .34 cup, slivered (remove)Nutmeg, ground, .13 tsp (remove)
Directions
cook squash, and then mash.

all all other ingrediants EXCEPT nuts, and mix well
pour into 8 inch square baking dish.
Garnish with nuts, I use almonds, but walnuts, pecans or pistacchios work well also.

Bake 325 for 30 minutes
Serve.
My family prefers this as dessert, do use it as side dish at Thanksgiving and Christmas
