Buffalo Chili

2 onions chopped2 lbs lean ground buffalo or bison1 Tbsp Chili powder1 tsp cumin powder1 tsp dried oregeno2 cups chopped tomatoes3 cups Catelli Garden Select Past sauce1 green pepper chopped1 yellow pepper chopped1 can red kidney beans (19 ozs) rinsed and drained
spray pan with Pam
on Medium heat cook onions and ground buffalo meat until browned, add chili and cumin and oregano.
add raw tomatoes (can of diced tomatoes can be used in place of fresh)
add past sauce
add chopped peppers
cook on medium heat for 20 minutes
simmer on low for 30 minutes or until desired consistancy is obtained.
Lean ground beef or chicken can be used in place of Buffalo. (buffalo is lower in fat and higher in Iron)
