Ingredients
Directions
beer, i like the amber ales for this, but use your favorite!sugarall purpose flourbaking powder
pre-heat oven to 375
prepare bread pan. i spray mine with Pam olive oil.
mix together the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
pour the beer into your dry ingredients. it will foam/froth a bit, so don't be alarmed!
mix this up really well, but kneeding is not required.
place in your bread pan.
put rack in the low middle of the oven. this bread rises quite a bit, so don't have a rack over top of it.
this is some seriously ugly bread, but gosh is it ever good stuff!
great to pair with some of my Chicken and Barley Stew!
Serving Size: about 12 good size hunks
