Berry "Cobbler" (Low Carb)

12 ounces frozen mixed berries1/4 c Xylitol, or Splenda granular, or Ideal Brown1/2 c butter, softened1/4 c Xylitol, or Splenda granular, or Ideal Brown2 eggs1/2 c almond flour1 tsp vanilla extract1 pinch of salt, optional, if using unsalted butter1 c heavy cream, whipped, sweetened if desired
Mix fruit with sweetener and place in 6x8 baking dish or 9 inch round metal pie plate.
In medium bowl, beat butter and sweetener until creamy. Beat in eggs(will look curdled). Mix in almond flour and vanilla with fork. Dollop by large spoonfuls over fruit; it will spread while baking so don't be too fussy.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes, or until topping is golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes and serve warm topped with fresh whipped cream. ENJOY!
