Ingredients
INGREDIENTS1.25 pound ground beef 1.5 onion, chopped (or one large)1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, with liquid 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans with liquid 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, with liquid 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 2 cups water 2 (14.5 ounce) cans peeled and diced tomatoes 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chile peppers 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
Directions
Brown the ground beef. Add all ingredients to the crock pot. Stir. Wait 8-10 hours (cook on high, in 4 hours). Serve. (2 cup serving)

I also add a lot of garlic, some cumin, coriander, cayenne, all spice, and chili powder.

I'll add rice sometimes to help thicken it, if I want more "stew" than "soup".

I love this recipe, I just cook it in a pot though, about an hour. I also put a big can of hominy, drained in it.
with the hominy I get 8-2 cup servings 300 cal. I also omit the water, I like it more stewish. - 7/20/09

this was super easy to make and the taste was great, I used buffalo rather than beef and it was great, I had mine with some corn bread the only problem I had was not knowing what a serving size was. I ended up with more than 8 servings - 10/24/07
