Spanish Acine de Pepe

Ingredients
8 slices of bacon, chopped1 Cup finely chopped onion4 tspn finely chopped, fresh garlic1 C. Acine de Pepe pasta, uncooked1 - 14 oz can chicken broth1/2 C. water1 bell pepper, red or green, finely chopped1 1/2 tspn chili powder1/2 tspn paprika1/2 tspn salt1 - 14 oz can diced tomatoes
Directions
In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Drain all but 1 tablespoon of drippings from pan. Add onion, garlic and uncooked pasta; cook, stirring frequently for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except tomato; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer 13 minutes, or until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring occassionally. Stir in tomato; cook 2 minutes, covered.
