Meredith's Lowfat Chili

2 pounds ground beef3 cans crushed tomatoes3 cans red kidney beans4 cans tomato sauce3 large green peppers1 large red onion
Cook green peppers, onions and ground beef in pan until meat is cooked through and onions and peppers are soft. Drain off all fat from the meat and dispose of. Add chili spices as desired (for this large batch I use 3 packets of Brooks mild chili seasoning together with additional chili pepper). Mix spices in with meat, peppers and onions. Add crushed (chunks) tomatoes, tomato sauce and kidney beans and bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Divide out portions and freeze extras.
