I made this on a rainy day for lunch. Great comfort food. I used nacho cheese soup instead of cheddar cheese. I also added a can of rotel tomatoes and served over brown rice. My husband and I both loved it. Will be a regular dish at our house. - 10/8/09

I've made this recipe many times and my whole family loves it! The sauce is a little runny when it's done but it works great because I like to add egg noodles to it for the last 30 minutes, which makes it the perfect consistency. Delish and couldn't be easier! - 1/16/17

I didn't add quite a full cup of water to keep it thicker and I added more garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and frozen broccoli toward the end. You could always use celery salt or use 1 can cream of chicken and one can of cream of celery for a different flavor. - 7/24/13

Seems to really need something.... a tad bland. And yes of course I added salt and pepper... lots of it! It needs something else... I also added potatoes and broccoli which really made it a lot better.Chicken was super moist!!! Ill try onions and garlic next time. I also added cheese. - 12/8/12

The end result is kind of bland and there is too much sauce. If I make is again, I will half the sauce part. The added frozen broccoli was good. One leftover I ate for dinner a few days later I added Red Hot. That made it taste really good. I might add Red Hot or Sriracha to the crockpot. - 3/30/12

This was good but made way too much sauce - next time I'll double the chicken or cut it down to 1 can of cream chicken soup w/ the cheese soup. Thank you for sharing! - 9/2/11

Not much flavor, but I added celery salt (many chicken soups have celery) and I added four cups of water with 3/4 cup cream of wheat to make a porridge. It was much better this way, thick and creamy. - 9/6/10

There wasn't much flavor at all. The chicken was very tender and if I do make this again, I will definitely do something to add more flavor. - 3/27/10

It needed more than what was listed to make it even serve 6, and to make it more than just some canned soup and chicken. I added an onion, 3 carrots, a can of tomatoes, some black pepper, and some frozen sweet corn. It turned out nicely once the other ingredients were added. Not the best on its own. - 3/19/10

My boyfriend who dosen't normaly eat healthy liked it.. I did not. I made it with red skinned potatoes . For whatever reason I just didn't enjoy it.. it was kind of blah - 2/9/10

This was a really good meal. First time I used my crockpot in years. We added broccoli and little potatoes. Next time we will add the broccoli an hour or two before it's done, it was a little over done. It wasn't as cheesy as I though. might add more cheese. - 10/23/08

The recipe was pretty good and I served it on whole wheat rice. I agree that the chicken was SO tender but I think next time I will add broccoli. It was pretty bland...needs some spices. - 2/26/08
