Cheese Garlic Grits or Polenta

Ingredients
*5 cups of water*1-2 vegetable bouillon cubes*2 tsp of salt*1 tsp black pepper*1 tsp of paprika, ground red pepper, or chili powder (depending on your spice preferences)*1-2 tsp of garlic powder or crushed garlic, according to your preference*1 cup of 2% milk*1/2 cup of cheese (I used monterey jack)
Directions
Bring water and spices to a gentle boil. Add milk, stir and bring back to gentle boil. Reduce heat, and slowly stir in grits, whisking enough to keep smooth. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until tender, whisking periodically. Once you turn off the heat, add the cheese and blend. Enjoy!
