Vanilla Cake

Ingredients
1 c. granulated sugar1/2 c. butter2 eggs2 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 c. white flour1 3/4 tsp. baking powder1/2 c. milk (a little extra may be needed)
Directions
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla
Combine flour and baking powder, then add to above mixture.
Add milk and beat until just smooth

Bake at 350F, 30-40 minutes for cake, 20-25 minutes for cupcakes.

Serving Size: Makes about 14 cupcakes or 1 9-inch round.
