Ethel's Shish Kabob

Ingredients
2 lbs cubed lamb or beef (1 1/2 to 2 inch cubes)2 large onions quartered2 lagrge tomatoes, quartered2 bell peppers, quartered1/4 C olive oil2 TBS red wine1 1/2 TBS lemon juice1 large clove garlic finely chopped1 tsp dried oregano1 bay leaf1 1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a alrge bowl. Let marinate in refrigerator 5 to 6 hours. When ready to cook, place meat and vegetables on skewers alternating 1 piece of meat with 1 piece of vegetable. Grill or broil in oven for 15 to 20 minutes til meat is cooked.
