Cabbage, savoy, fresh, 8 cup, shreddedOnions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia), dicedCrisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 1 tbsp Morningstar Farms Bacon Strips 10 stripsSalt and pepper
Cut cabbage in half, remove core. Cut into shreds. and rinse thoroughly.
Dice onion.
Cut Veggie bacon into quarter inch strips.
Heat oil in non-stick pot. Add onions and cook until soft. For additional flavor, allow them to brown sightly.
Add veggie bacon strips.
Add cabbage. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until it reaches desired consistency( Some may prefer soft, others al dente).
