Ingredients
1 pound Lean Ground Beef (or Turkey if you choose)1 cup Brown Rice1 cup unsweetened Applesauce1 large egg6 tbsp of A1 Sauce (I like the bold and spicy, but any BBQ will do)Garlic, Onion, and other spices seasoned to taste... I place all the meat, rice, and egg in 1 bowl, then the rest in another so I can season the applesauce to taste safely.
Directions
Mix the sauce in 1 bowl, seasoned to taste, then pour over the ground beef, rice, and egg.

Blend until all evenly mixed, then place in a baking pan (I find a loaf pan works best, but in a pinch I have used a 9 x 9 dish as well.

Bake it in the oven uncovered:

I broil it the first 15 minutes to sear the meat, then reduce the heat to 350 and bake another 30 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 160-165 on the meat thermometer.

I also use a baster to drain off the fat out of the pan every 15 minutes or so.

Let it cool about 5 minutes to firm up, and then enjoy.
