Ingredients
Butter or Margarine, 1 cupBrown Sugar, 0.7 cupGranulated Sugar, 0.3 cup Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp Flour, white, 1.5 cup Salt, 0.5 tspBaking Soda, 1 tsp Water, boiling, 0.25 cupQuick Oats, 2 cupChocolate Chips, Semi-sweet, 1.5 cup
Directions
- Preheat oven at 350oF (175oC)
- Beat Butter or Margarine, Sugar and Vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Add flour and Salt. Mix well.
- Dissolve Baking Soda in boiling Water & add to mixture.
- Stir in Rolled Oats & Chocolate Chips.
- Drop spoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Don't overcook - you want the cookies to start turning golden brown.
