Low carb baked ziti with sausage

Ingredients
1 box of dreamfields low carb penne 1 14.5 oz can of tomato sauce1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes, italian style1 package italian sausage, hot or sweet1 2-cup bag italian blend shredded cheese1 cup parmesan cheese1 tsp red pepper flakes1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp black pepper1 tsp salt1 tbs oregano4 oz cream cheese, chopped into teaspoon sized hunks
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 13 x 5 pyrex with canola spray. Cook your penne according to directions on box, then toss with some oil in a large bowl. Cut skins off sausages and sautee over medium high heat until cooked, crumbling with a spatula. Add to penne. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, cream cheese hunks, and seasonings. Stir well. Lay out in pyrex and cover with parmesan. Cover pyrex with foil. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until parmesan is golden. Enjoy!

    We all enjoyed this very much. I left out the red pepper flakes. We don't care for food that is spicy. Otherwise this was quite enjoyable. - 2/26/13
