Ingredients
1/2 pound ground beef1/2 cup chopped celery1/4 cup chopped onion1 tbl minced garlic1/4 tsp red pepper flakes1/3 cup uncooked long grain rice1/2 can blackeyed peas
Directions
In large skillet cook beef, drain. Add celery, onion and garlic and cook for 5 min. Add broth and red pepper. Bring to a boil. Add rice. Cover, simmer for 20 min. Add blackeyed peas and cook for 10 more min or until liquid is absorbed.
