Ingredients
1/2 cup of peanut butter1/4 cup of water2 Tbsp. of cinnamon1 tbsp of vanilla extract1 tbsp of flax seed4 cups of Old fashion Oats - Not Quick Oats1/4 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375

In sauce pan add peanut butter and water. Stir until melted. Turn off heat.

Add vanilla and cinnamon and stir till combined. Add Oats and mix until well combined.

Add parchment paper to baking sheet.

Add Granola mixture to baking sheet and shape into a rectangle, you may need to use your hands. Place in oven and bake for 12 - 15 minutes until lightly golden. The longer it cooks the crisper it will be.

Take out of oven and add chocolate chips. I press them down into the mixture. Once cooled for a few minutes, cut into pieces. Store in an air tight container.

You can omit the chips and add nuts, dried fruit ect...

Note: If you want them sweet, add 1/2 cup of brown sugar to the water and peanut butter mixture.

Flavor is good but too dry to make into bars, left as loose granola to put in yogurt - 8/19/11
