Holiday Fruit Fantasy Dessert

Ingredients
2 miniature dark chocolate bars ½ green apple, cored and sliced (should yield 6 to 8 thin slices)½ navel orange, peeled and sliced (should yield 6 to 8 thin slices)2 strawberries, quartered.25 oz. candied ginger, minced4 walnut halves or 6 pistachios, crushed (.25 oz. of crushed nuts)
Directions
Prepare fruit as above. (If using orange, make sure to peel and remove as much of the pith (the white stuff) as possible.) Mince ginger and mix with crushed nuts in small shallow bowl. Melt chocolate in small ramekin or microwave-safe container until soft.

Dip one-half of each fruit piece in chocolate and then into ginger-nut mixture. Place on serving plate, alternating each fruit slice, and serve.
