South Beach Diet Phase 2 Spaghetti

1 lb Ground Sirloin- 90% lean, 10% fat1 small onion, diced1.5c Prego Sauce (your choice... I used Mushroom Sauce).5 Box of Whole Wheat Pasta (approx. 7 oz)
In Large saucepan, heat 6-8 cups of water- bring to a roaring boil. Add Whole Wheat Pasta. Please allow 13-20 minutes to cook (depending on your choice of pasta).
While pasta is cooking, combine ground sirloin and diced onions in large saute pan. Thuroughly cook ground sirloin and onions (approx 10 minutes). Once meat mixture is thuroughly cooked, drain any excess fat. Return to stove and add Spaghetti Sauce. Mix ingredients. Bring mixture to boil.
Drain pasta and combine with other ingredients. Mix all ingredients together in sauce pan.
