Dark Chocolate Blueberry Cookies

Ingredients
1/4 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce1/2 cup Mashed Ripe Bananas1/2 cup Splenda, Brown Sugar Blend2 Eggs Whites1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour1 tsp Baking Powder1 tsp Vanilla Extract1 tsp cinnamon3/4 cup raw oats1/4 cup dark chocolate chip cookies (at least 60% cocoa)1/4 cup dried blueberries1/4 cup sliced almonds
Directions
Cream the bananas, apple sauce, and sugar.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract
Beat in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder,
Blend the raw oats, chocolate chips, bluebberies, and almonds.

Placed on lightly greased (margarine) cookie sheet.
Bake on 375 for 10-12 mins.

Please note, these will not rise like regular cookies made with butter; they will have a denser, heartier texture.

    I JUST made these cookies for the first time! OMG THEY ARE AMAZING. You can taste the blueberries bursting with flavour. I didn't have bananas so I just substituted an extra 1/4 cup of applesauce instead. Nice and chewy and SO EASY TO MAKE! tks for sharing the recipe!!!!!! - 6/2/13
