400gms lean minced beef2 tsp ginger2 cloves garlic1 tsp cinnamon2 tsp fennel seeds1 tsp chilli powder1 tsp tumeric2 tbsp curry powder500g passata or liquidised tomatoes1/2 cup natural low fat yoghurtsalt and pepper to taste.
Place beef, garlic, ginger, fennel, cinnamon and chilli in bowl and mix. Mould into walnut sized balls and set aside.
place tumeric, curry powder and passata in saucepan and bring to boil. Season and then add meat balls. simmer for 15-20 minutes turning meatballs occasionally until cooked. Remove from heat and garnish with yoghurt.
