Ingredients
500 grams dried chickpeas soaked overnight1 leek1 large carrot2 large stalks celeryaprox 4 cups home made chicken or vegetable stock 1 tspn turmeric.5 tspn salk.5 tspn ground black pepper.5 tspn ground chilli peppers
Directions
place all ingredients into a slow cooker. ensure that stock level covers the peas + quarter inch. Cook on high for 2 hours and then on low for up to 5 hours or until the peas are tender.
