Energy (Protein - Peanut Butter) Bars

Ingredients
1 C Oats (I used old-fashioned)2 C smooth Peanut Butter5 scoops Protein Powder ( I used vanilla whey and soy)3/4 C dry milk1/2 C flax seed1/2 C Honey
Directions
Mix all but flax seed and oats in bowl w/ electric mixer. Will be extremely thick. Hand stir in Oats and Flax seed. Press into 8X8 dish lined w/ wax paper (for easier removal). I used rolling pin to smooth out the bars. Really press mixture into pan. Refrigerate to help set. Cut into 16 bars. (I doubled recipe and used jelly roll pan for easier rolling) 1 serving = 1 bar

    Love these bars. Made as directed as well as a batch w/ chocolate protein powder and mini choc chips in place of 1/2 the flax. Freeze and enjoy whenever the mood strikes! - 5/11/11
