Big A's Chicken Salad Base

This is a recipe BASE. So everything is approximate.Roughly 10 oz braised or otherwise cooked chicken breast, usually equal to one full boneless breast. Diced.150 grams apple. Diced.60 grams onion. Diced.4 tbsp mayonnaise. Not diced. ;)Courseness of dicing is up to you. Likewise, variety of apple and onion is up to you. I use bite-y white onion and fuji apple, but that's my preference.You'll want to add salt and other spices to taste. Without them, this will be a bland recipe. I can also recommend using black pepper and paprika.
No cooking really required, other than cooking the chicken breast beforehand. Add the chicken, mayo, and onion together and mix well. After that, dice the apples and add them in. This is kind of important. If you dice the apples beforehand and let them sit, they will turn brown. You don't want that.
Then add spices to taste and mix again. Let it sit in the fridge for a while to chill and "soak", then mix one more time. Slap it on some bread and have lunch.
