1 Pepperidge Farm 7 Grain Deli Flat2 slices of ripe tomato1/4 cup romaine lettuce1 T Helman's Low Fat Mayo1 T Oscar Mayer Real Bacon BitsIngredients Notes: Highly recommend using the Oscar Mayer bits and not another brand, since they come "under-cooked" and crisp up nicely and release real bacon flavor upon heating. Feel free to substitute another flavor of the Deli Flats (they have almost identical values), or even Arnold Sandwich Thins (although these have higher sodium value).Be careful to use the correct mayo, which has 15 calories and 1 gram of fat. The many varieties can be confusing!
Heat the bacon bits in a non-stick frying pan until they are crisp and aromatic.
Spread mayo onto both halves of the Deli Flat and spread the bacon bits on the bottom half. Layer tomato and lettuce over bacon bits, and enjoy your sandwich!
