Turkey Black Bean Chili

Ingredients
1 pound lean ground turkey2 cups black beans (cycle 2 and 3 only)1 cup chopped onion2 cups tomato sauce1 tbsp chile powder1 tsp kosher salt1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions
In a saucepan, brown the ground turkey over moderate heat. Add the remainder of the ingredients. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Note: Instead of chili powder. I used 1 tbsp of mexican seasoning purchased from the Spice Barn. This seasoning includes salt so I did not use the salt either. This recipe is filling, delicous, spicy and easy to make.

Also, I used 85/15 ground turkey. A leaner turkey would cut the calories and fat.
