Quick Chilli

Ingredients
1 Pound 93% Lean Ground Beef1/2 cup chopped green sweet peppers1/2 cup chopped onion4 garlic cloves2 cups tomato sauce2 cups diced tomatoes2 tsp chilli powder1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/2 ts basil1 cinammon stick1/4 cup 2% shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
1. Stir in ground beef, peppers, onion and the garlic over medium heat until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off the fat.

2. Stir in tomato sauce, undrained diced tomatoes, chilli powder, salt, basil, black pepper and cinnamon stick. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 3 hours.

3. Ladle into bowl and top with sprinkle of cheese.

Serves 4

You can also add beans, and top with sour cream if desired.
