Barley and Lentil Pilaf

Ingredients
1/2 cup pearl barley1/2 cup lentils, I use brown but green would work1/4 teaspoon Salt 3 cups water
Directions
Put barley and lentils in a strainer and rinse. Add to rice cooker or pot with the three cups of water and salt.

If using a rice cooker, close lid, and turn on rice cooker.

If cooking on top of stove, bring to simmer then cover and let steam for around an hour, or when all water has been absorbed.
