Turkey Burger Patties, Super Bowl

1.5 lbs of ground turkey, 93% lean1 slice white bread, toasted1 egg 1 egg yolk2 tsp santa maria seasoning salt1 green onion, sliced thin (1/4 cup)3 garlic cloves, pressed through a garlic press
Makes 8 4.5oz patties.
Remove the crust from the toasted bread. Rip it into shreds and pulse in a food processor until it becomes small breadcrumbs.
Mix in a small bowl the whole egg and the egg yolk.
Place in a mixing bowl the ground turkey, bread crumbs, eggs, Santa Maria Seasoning Salt, green onion and garlic. Add a dash of cayenne pepper (optional). Use a fork to mix the ingredients until they are evenly and well mixed.
Divide into 8 patties or use a scale to measure out 4.5oz patties. Grill or pan fry until each patty reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees- about 7 minutes each side.
